Standardization Working Committee of China International Association for the Promotion of Science and Technology

The abbreviation "Standardization Committee" is a directly affiliated functional department of the China International Association for the Promotion of Science and Technology. It is a standardization professional service department established in accordance with relevant regulations such as the Standardization Law of the People's Republic of China, the National Standardization Management Committee, and the Group Standard Management Regulations of the Ministry of Civil Affairs (Guobianlian [2019] No. 1), combined with the needs of domestic and international standardization development, and registered with relevant national management departments in accordance with the law.

The purpose of the Standards Committee is:

Comprehensively serving standardization work in various industries, promoting the rapid development and application of new technologies, products, services, and markets through standards. Through standardization and internationalization, China's standard system and standard development can be aligned with international standards.

membership:

In order to promote and popularize standardization work, the Standardization Committee implements a membership management model. Any enterprise, institution, or individual engaged in standardization work can apply to become a member unit of standardization work. Member units can participate in standardization training organized by the Standardization Committee, or work together with other enterprises to apply for standard projects, standard drafting, and other related work.

Service system:

In order to effectively serve its members, the Standardization Committee has established a Standardization Service Working Group to coordinate communication among various stakeholders in standardization activities. Under the leadership and guidance of the Standardization Committee, communication and coordination are carried out for standard project initiation, review and other activities to ensure the effective operation of various standardization procedures and work.

Management system:

Twenty standardized management systems have been established, including membership management, service work management, program management, technical review management, special issue management, standard promotion and implementation management, standard review, revision and abolition management, intellectual property management, standard publishing and copyright management, standard archive management, international standards, national standards, industry standard service management, enterprise standard service management, standard internationalization work promotion service management, group standard management involving patents, training and assessment management, complaint mechanism, continuous supervision and improvement management, and have been effectively implemented.
